Before we can get started, we of course need some things to be talked about to make sure everyone is satisfied.

Facts so far :(Last updated 9th November '08)
Things we need to discuss before starting are :
- The Actual setting and the era where the RP takes place. Planned Post-Timewar BUT Gallifrey is 'available' again!
Please come up with some ideas for your characters within the coming days (Only rough ideas, specific Bios of course can wait until the game itself starts, so just let your mind play a little with ideas ^^), because depending on what we have we will construct the basic story to involve everyone ^^
Current rules so far :
- Be nice and helpful to your crew for most of them never played a RP before.
- You may take 1-3 characters - If canon or not is your decision.
- BUT please don't do five Doctor's, Ten Rose's or twenty Mary Sue's o.O
- Don't play other peoples characters - Only your own ones. (Rmemeber, it's a game, not a story ;) )
- No killing of each other's character!
- No destroying of 'main'-(canon) Planets!
- No violence or sex harder than PG 14 - For this should stay a platform open to anyone.
- No SPAM.
- Keep politically clean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm setting - that's somehow a real difficult question... the one I have not just so much ideas about. But after Doctor Who is a very earth bound serie it think earth would be a real good place... at least to begin their! So why not London? That's classical whovi!
As character I would like to play a friendly Dalek. The reason why this Dalek is friendly is what I am not real sure about. First idea would be that it is a Dalek from "Evil of the Daleks" with humanfactor, somehow escaped. Maybe also his gen-therapie didn't real work so that he became a normal Daleks - or just thinks so - and now after years he find out that there are feelings inside him. Then he for some reason stops exterminate people because he doesn't see a reason to do so and maybe kill his supreme instant of the person he should kill. This person can, of course, be one of the other players so that both have a good point to go into the RP. If nobody wants to be this person, I thing he would refuse to kill the human/what ever humanoid and the Supreme kills the Human before the Dalek kills the Supreme. That would give him a more tragical live somehow...
After it finds out 'bout its feelings it soon will begin to find out more about them. That's the pre-timewar variant. In the Post-timewar variant every 1.000.000th Dalek or so has feelings. Rest of the story would be more or less the same.
I would prefer a pre-timewar setting just 'cause I think in this era there are more opinions to play(gallifrey... skaro... cool cybermans! ^^) but wouldn't have any problems with post-timewar!
As story... I would say if anyone wants to play the doctor we could begin it more or less with a classical doctor who theme - Daleks who are invading the earth. That would real help me to place my char!

As for setting... would pre-timewar be better? Gallifrey could be used as a location, then.
Though to be honest, I'm not that bothered, either way.

Donna and Romana are both great ideas - I think the question whom to take would be answered when it's decided 'when' whe do play (Pre- or post ^^ I'd like to do both, so I call myself undecided ^^)
